Welcome! I am so happy you are here. I understand from personal experience that seeking help and finding the right person to talk to can be extremely difficult. My goal is to make it simple.
People seek services for a variety of reasons, and no single reason is a better or worse reason to want to speak with someone. Life happens and I'm here to help fight the stigma often associated with mental health services.
My website has a lot of information, and hopefully many of your questions are answered here. There is a list of services with descriptions, rates, frequently asked questions, resources and more. If, however, you still have any questions or I've missed something, please feel free to contact me.
If you think we would be a good fit and are interested in becoming a client, let's schedule a free consultation (see services).
Charlotte Ramberg, LPC, NCC
Owner and Clinician
When it comes to your mental health and overall well-being, it’s important to have a knowledgeable professional you can turn to. I'm a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia (LPC011035) - here to walk with you through life’s complex and difficult matters. I specialize in the perinatal period involving all things baby, pregnancy and birth, 4th trimester, and more.
My experience is working with individuals, couples, and families faced with trauma, anxiety, depression, anger, grief, family issues, spirituality, life changes, and sexuality. I have a passion for working with moms and expecting/new parents.
My main goal is to help strengthen the family unit, enhance marriages/relationships, and help support clients through life transitions. I strongly believe in seeing and hearing the client as who they are as a person rather than seeing them as a diagnosis. Because insurance companies have certain requirements that I believe can impede the therapeutic process, I accept self pay only.
I practice humanistic therapy believing that the therapeutic relationship is most important. I work to tailor services to the client and collaborate with you utilizing various modalities. I pull from modalities such as mindfulness based cognitive behavioral, experiential, positive psychotherapy, and more. I assist clients to work on modifying distorted self-perceptions, increasing self-understanding, focusing on strengths, and so much more. Though I see clients of many ages, I primarily see young adults or those in childbearing years.
