As a backup option, I use Doxy.me, which is a free, HIPAA compliant website. It's simple and easy to use. We can chat or do a video call, and you do not need a profile.
This platform is used for clients who are essential workers referred through Therapy Aid.
Tips for Telehealth Sessions
You are responsible for confidentiality and connection on your end, so here are some tips to help make it the best experience possible.
Find a quiet and secluded place in your house where no one will bother you
Wear headphones with a microphone to assist with confidentiality and feedback
Make sure you are in a private location and not in a public place
Ensure a strong WIFI connection or plug directly into your internet box for best results
Make sure you are on a secure and private WIFI connection and not a public connection if available/possible
